United Way \u2013 Help Me Grow & Welcome Baby Internship \u00a0<\/span>Application<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0DEADLINE: Friday, July 18th<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Description:<\/strong>
\nWorking with parents and connecting families to community resources
\n\u2022 Researching new community resources
\n\u2022 Scoring and processing developmental screening for children 0-5yrs
\n\u2022 Maintaining social media initiatives (e.g. blog, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
\n\u2022 Organizing and helping at Family Events and United Way\u2019s Day of Caring
\n\u2022 Preparing for our early literacy workshop and parent support group
\n\u2022 Providing Home visits to new parents in the community
\n\u2022 Collaborating with various community organizations
\n\u2022 Maintaining detailed information in our family databases
\n\u2022 Organizing and helping out at our Playgroups
\n\u2022 And much, much more!<\/p>\n

Internship Requirements:<\/strong>
\nApplicants must be a bachelor\u2019s seeking student in a related field and have a high interest in family support and community involvement.\u00a0 We require a full semester commitment and a time commit of 15-20 hours per week.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The application and training process is the same for students at all universities. Both Help Me Grow Utah and Welcome Baby work closely together, so when applying for either internship, you will be considered for both internships.<\/p>\n
