The intern&#8217;s job is threefold: to facilitate third party exchanges of children between divorced parents, to supervise non-custodial parents visiting their children, and to interview children about their interactions with their parents. ACAFS interns are given serious responsibilities and expected to display self-motivation and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commitment:<\/strong>\u00a0Interns are expected to work approximately 6 &#8211; 10 hours per week as interns at ACAFS. The work hours vary, with most of the work being between 3:00 and 9:00 pm Monday through Friday, Saturdays, and some Sundays from 5:30 &#8211; 8:00pm.<\/p>\n<p>A two-semester (8 month) commitment is required. This internship is a volunteer position.
