Hours are flexible.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">seeking to fill the position as soon as possible<\/span>. We will accept applications until the position is filled.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Purpose:<\/u><\/strong> To act as a liaison between victims and members of the justice system by providing victim assistance services.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Responsibilities: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Explain the criminal justice process to victims and answer questions<\/li>\n<li>Advise victims of their victims\u2019 rights and answer questions<\/li>\n<li>Notify victims of hearings and accompany victims to court<\/li>\n<li>Identify victim\u2019s needs and provide referrals\/resources<\/li>\n<li>Offer reassurance and empathetic listening<\/li>\n<li>Follow-up with victims regarding case status<\/li>\n<li>Assist Victim Coordinator with case work<\/li>\n<li>Answer questions\/concerns from the general public<\/li>\n<li>Assist with trainings and special projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong>, please send this completed <a href=\"https:\/\/attorneygeneral.utah.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Internship-Application1.pdf\">application packet<\/a> and the required materials to Katherine Rhodes at <a href=\"mailto:krhodes@agutah.gov\">krhodes@agutah.gov<\/a>.
