Volunteers Needed

United Nations Civil Society Conference

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is participating in the 68th Annual United Nations Civil Society Conference in Salt Lake City and they need your help! This event takes place on August 26-28th and is the first UN Civil Society Conference hosted in the United States outside of New York City or other UN locations. It is focused on the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal #11 to “make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable by 2030”.
Students who are fluent in French, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Chinese, or English are invited to come and translate for the Church’s booth at the event. Shifts are from 8 am to 2 pm or 2 pm to 6:15 pm on all three days, and students are welcome to sign up for as many shifts as possible.

Perks include free entry into the conference and the good company of changemakers from all across the globe.
