Contact the Utah State Prison ASAP to get on the schedule for the November interview times for two new Psych Tech positions in the Sex Offender Treatment Program (SOTP) located in Draper, Utah. These positions involve working exclusively with inmates who have sexually offended.

Job Title: Psych Tech
Job Duties:
§ Work under supervision of a licensed psychologist
§ Administer & score intake testing (Intellectual, achievement, personality, and projective testing instruments used)
§ Conduct psychosocial interviews with individuals who have committed sexual offenses
§ Teach classes (e.g., anger management, parenting, relationships)
§ Tutor intellectually challenged inmates
Qualifications:
§ 19 hours per week
§ 1 year commitment
§ Must register for 1 semester of Psych 399 Internship Credit during fall semester
§ Paid through BYU Student Employment ($9.00/hr)
