Mountainland Head Start is a great program that provides preschool education to underprivileged kids. They have several programs that support and increase the success of the preschool program. The volunteer positions listed below can provide rich experience in the community services genre and will help you determine the right career direction for you and provide the opportunity to develop new, marketable skills.
Mountainland Head Start is currently looking to fill the following volunteer positions in August:
- Community Involvement (1 position open) – community project development
- Enrollment Intern (1 position open) – non-profit marketing opportunities
- Parent Engagement Intern (1 position open) – education promotion w/ parents
- Education Internship (1 position open) – classroom experience
- Family Advocate Internship (3-4 positions open) – home visits w/ families & children (Spanish fluency preferred for the family advocate positions)
